01 — The challenge
Natlaupa, a luxury hospitality firm with offices in Paris, Barcelona, and Beirut, needed a sophisticated booking platform to showcase 60+ curated hotels across 10 countries while providing personalized AI-powered recommendations.
60+ luxury hotels across 3 continents were managed through disconnected systems — spreadsheets, emails, and phone calls. No unified platform to showcase the curated collection.
Travelers had no way to discover hotels matching their mood or preferences. The booking process felt transactional, not luxurious — a far cry from the personalized concierge service Natlaupa is known for.
Without AI-powered matching, guests relied on static filters and endless scrolling. The human touch of a luxury concierge was impossible to scale across 10 countries.
02 — Our approach
We built a full-stack luxury booking platform with Next.js 15, React 19, and Google Gemini AI integration. Features include mood-based hotel matching, interactive Mapbox destination maps, comprehensive admin dashboard with 20 API endpoints, and GDPR-compliant architecture.
Google Gemini AI reads each traveler's mood and preferences to surface the right hotel from the curated collection, replacing static filters with a conversation.
A Mapbox GL-powered map lets travelers explore all 10 countries visually, moving from continent to city to property in a few clicks.
20 API endpoints bring hotel CRUD, offers, blog, inquiries, and partnerships into one dashboard, replacing the spreadsheets and email chains that once ran the business.
Cookie consent, data handling, and booking flows were engineered to meet European privacy standards from day one, protecting guests across Paris, Barcelona, and Beirut.
